OFFICIAL HBGA PROGRAMS & PROJECTS
History of Black Gay America annually prepares for inspiring, empowering and educational programs to further our mission in preserving, supporting, honoring and acknowledging our black LGBTQ culture. Many of these initiatives were started during our time as a subsidiary of our founding partner, Meak Productions, Inc. (under the companies special projects and media division).
Many programs have been evolved and matured to suit the goals of the national expansion of the organization. Sponsor and Partner opportunities are now available for business and community organizations who are interested in supporting our initiatives.
HBGA DOCU-SERIES & PODCAST SHOW:
The History of Black Gay America Online Media Series, a radio & video podcast spin-off of our founding partners radio show launch of the Atlanta Chapter's inaugural seasonal show during black gay pride
season. In sync with the organization's mission, the show is created to provide the public with the latest developments in annual pride events, highlighted interviews with pioneers/trailblazers, and
highlights of the early years and continued evolution of the nation's Black Gay Movement. Click the right photo link to see a throwback Facebook live streaming tribute to renowned community legend,

HBGA HALL OF FAME & JUSTICE INDUCTIONS:
This concept was developed during the early years of our organization's vision in 2012. The special Hall of Fame & Justice Induction and Awards Ceremonies are designed to honor and recognize the numerous pioneering efforts of black gay leaders of the past, as well as the current trailblazers and new accomplishments of those involved in the present day Black LGBTQ community.
Many Black Same Gender Loving & Trans pioneers of the past & present have never been honored in this fashion and many Unsung heroes are never recognized or noticed for their work have never had a platform to be honored.
The Hall of Fame & Justice Induction recognizes and celebrates indviduals,
businesses and/or organizations with over 20+ years experience who have
pioneered and/or made a significant impact toward the growth, evolution and
progression of the Black LGBTQ Community in the United States. 5 - 8 names
are inducted each year. Certain exceptions are made for Honorary Inductions and
for our Posthumous Inductions.

BLACK PRIDE PRESS CONFERENCE SERIES:
Previously under our founding partner, we begin producing annual press conferences and providing media coverage for various black queer/trans organizations beginning with the Annual Atlanta Black Gay Pride Celebration during the official “LIVE” Recording of our Inaugural Press Conference on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the former Melia Hotel in Midtown Atlanta.
Since then, we have produced and sponsored both virtual and live press conferences, panel discussions and town hall meetings for NAESM, the State of Black Gay America Summitt and for the Out Georgia Business Alliance.

BLACK LEGENDS SOLO FEATURES/CAMPAIGNS
Our first Black legends feature was produced with our founding partner back in 2014 with the 10th Anniversary celebration of pioneering filmmaker/producer/actor, Maurice Jamal, featuring a signature radio interview and a marketing campaign commemorating his industry and community advocacy work.
We provide this consulting service, along with anniversary events and settings, to the black LGBTQ diaspora at a reasonable cost via our founding partner (Meak Productions) and other collaborative partners. Majority proceeds always benefit HBGA.
We also plan to feature black queer/trans legends on a monthly - quarterly bases as a tool of advertising and marketing for the organization, and for annual hall of fame and justice inductions.
